What are the necessary plug-ins for a WordPress site ?

  • I’ve WordPress 3.0.3 version, and I’ve recently upgraded my website from Drupal to WordPress, though I’ve successfully transferred my database, but it’s not showing up on my site https://zigg.in/ . I have hundreds of blogs, but not a single is coming.

    Please tell me. Do I need to install necessary plug-ins first for that ? If yes, then which are those plug-ins ?

    Definitely Akismet for anti-spam purposes. It should have been included with WordPress. If not, just search for and install it from Plugins/Add New in your Dashboard.

    I’d say anything else pretty much depends on what you want to do with your blog.
