What are the proper file & directory permissions for WPMS

  • I am looking for some sort of concise reference document that indicates what the proper *nix permission settings need to be for all WordPress files and directories.

    My WP Multisite network has been hacked and I am trying to identify where the holes, leaks and exposures may be.

    [P.S. WP core, plugins and tymese updated as soon as new versions are released. So I am as current as can be.]

    My server got hacked again this morning.

    Does anyone have any response on what a secured WP should look like with respect to *nix permissions?

    For example some of the .php core scripts in the install are [-rw-r-xr-x] while others are [-rw-r--r--]
