    I re-phrase the question:

    When I set imsanity to set the default size to be 2048x2048px a horizontal image looks much smaller in content area than a vertical image.

    It’s the case with WP+TwentySixteen and another Theme it came up first.

    That setting results for 3:2 images for an horizontal image 2048x1356px and for a vertical image 1356x2048px. But when I paste it in to be a featured image the horizontal image is as wide as a vertical image would be.

    I don’t find the right settings that vertical image doesn’t consume the whole width of the content area when set as a featured image. Can you please tell me, what I am missing?
