I’m seeing roughly 1MB / minute. I’m seeing a lot of the “The time we have been running (x) is approaching the resumption interval (y). Increasing the resumption level”

After about 24 minutes, i have 20MB of data backed up (looking at the \www\wp-content\updraft folder).

Is this normal or do i have a greater issue here?

    Hi,

It’s not really possible to answer from here. It depends upon the power of your hosting server, whether it is overloaded, any limits that the hosting company employs, and then the speed and congestion of the network link between your webserver and the cloud storage.

fair enough – this is on a local server, backing up to the local disk. 1MB / minute just seemed really slow (i was expecting something closer to copying speeds). the machine is an older Xeon dual proc system with 8GB RAM running under Windows 7 (wordpress on a WAMP stack) for a local intranet. it’s only about 40MB total, so it’s not a big deal, i was just wondering if there might be something i was missing.

    Hi,

That is chronically slow. If you post the log file then I can read it. (Use pastebin.com for the posting, then post the link). Though, if you read it yourself, you might be able to spot what’s going on.

    Best wishes,
    David
