what cache works with UM?

    Has anyone ever found a decent cache plugin which works with UM? I’m having huge problems with WP Super Cache and have tried several others but nothing.

    Anyone?

    Hi @arathra,

    Almost all issues with caching can be easily fixed by excluding Ultimate member pages from cache.
    This means that you have to add e.g
    /user
    /login
    /register
    /account
    /members
    etc.
    pages to the excluded URLs section.
    Please see this article on how to exclude pages using WP Super Cache.

    I’m trying that now. The irony is, of course, that the slowest pages are the profile pages. On my site I get a PageSpeed insight of around 50 for profiles. Not good!

    Is the new version of UM going to be any faster? Or is there a way you can recommend to speed it up in the meantime?

    Hi @arathra,

    Do you have the latest version of the Ultimate member installed?
    This can be memory limit issues, please make sure that you have at least 128 MB allocated to WordPress in your wp-config.php file.

    Unfortunately I can’t update to the newest version of UM as it has a bug in it which doesn’t allow PDF files to be uploaded. I was told to rollback to a previous version.

    I’ve tried upping the memory limit in wp-config; it was 64M
