What can you do with Parent Values and Child Valus of an Attribute in Woocomerce

    Hello,

    I’m a new user of WooCommerce and I saw that somebody thinked that it will be a good idea to let user to create in Woocommerce parents value and child values of an attribute, when you have a product variation. (click on the link to see the what I’m talking about LINK)

    What can you do with parents values and childrens values of an attribute in Woocomerce? What it will be different. In what situation I will need to use this type of doing things?

    There is no handling of hierarchal attributes in core. You can nest them, but it won’t do anything visible.
