what comment code causes comments to skip a number?

  • I have a few people commenting on a blog entry I wrote. But the comments seem to skip a number. For example, the first person will comment. And then the second comment is blank. And then another person comments, and that is comment #3 while comment #4 is empty.

    Looks like this;

    1. commenting on this.
    2.
    3. comment by another person.
    4.

    what line of code is causing this?
