• Hi!
I was wondering what database this plugin backs up?
I have 3 MySQL databases and it seems to me this plugin gets backup from the one which does not belong to my wordpress site tables.
I have two databases related to my multiwebsite, but, as you know, there is only one database which stores my entire system’s tables and it does not gets backed up.
    what should I do?

    Hi,

UpdraftPlus should only backup the WordPress database (i.e. the database configured in wp-config.php).

Could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service, such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

well I checked the log, and I see the tables which I wanted to be backed up the most, the problem was just the naming of this backup file by the plugin. I don’t know why but this plugin does not give me any clue about the name of the database and seems to be choosing a random name, for example the name of stored database backup is:
    backup_2016-09-13-1500_tsenfir_be55a09f7308-db
which makes me thinking what database this can be?! because I have a database with the name tsenfir_db and I thought this might be it. but actually it gets a backup of my tsenfir_webs database (which is what I wanted).
hope don’t get into any trouble and confusion restoring it.
I guess you don’t need the log anymore.
    thanks

    Hi,

Apologies for the confusion. UpdraftPlus names the backup files after the backup run, rather than the specific database name.

The structure of the backup file names are:
    backup_<date>-<time>_<site name>_<random identifier>-<backup section>.[zip/gz]
