    I know and understand that this is all volunteer, free, etc. I am not trying to “vent”, I am seriously wanting to know if there is something I am doing wrong; not giving enough information, posting to the wrong area, etc.
    I have been posting the same questions, albeit in different ways, for a week now and have had no responses. Following is my post:

    Under the write tab, my sub-windows open fine and are each about 1/2 the width of the page, with the exception of the “Post” tab which extends all the way across the page. In so doing it clashes with the “Publish Status” tab. The result is that I cannot see what I am writing or the buttons under the Publish Status window, and I cannot see anything in the “Publish Status” window under the “post” tab.

    Does what I am saying make sense?

  • I have no clue as to what could cause this, I am a total newbie. But just a suggestion that may help in the interim, Have you tried different screen resolution? Its not a solution but may help till someone can help with the problem..

    Hi, I’m also a bit of a newbie and understand your frustrations when something isn’t going right. Just a question, did you download 2.5 recently or have you upgraded to 2.5?

    One thing is wrong for sure: posting 3 times the same in 13 hours… We don’t really appreciate that.

    It seems quite a unique problem, so until somebody can reproduce it – it will be difficult to address it.
    Any plugins that might interfere with the Write panel? (did you try deactivating all the plugins?)

    Also, did you try re-uploading the wp-admin folder?
    Did you try a different browser?

    A couple of things:
    First to raincowboy, Rockchick, and moshu: Thank you for your responses. I sincerely appreciate it.
    Secondly, to moshu:
    1. One thing is wrong for sure: posting 3 times the same in 13 hours
    Like I said in the original post, I have posted the same question in different ways. I was hoping that I either explained it better or wrote it differently to catch someones attention. Also, re-look at the posts . . .I did not repost 3 times in 13 hours.
    2. We don’t really appreciate that. Who is “We”. I thought this was a community forum. Do you assume to speak for the whole community? Am I not a part of that community? Come down off your “high-horse” and join the ranks of the rest of us.
    3. Again thank you. You were right on. I went through and deactivated all the plug-ins and started activating them one by one. It was the “WP Super Edit” plug-in.

    I think “we” means people who come here purely to help others in this case.

    Or it may mean “we moderators” – also quite a valid distinction between his kind of “we” and our kind of “we”.
