What exactly does “Frontend” mean in the settings?

  • I’ve got heartbeat disabled on the Dashboard and Frontend. I’ve modified the heartbeat frequency to the max value of 300 on Post editor. I’m still not quite sure what “Frontend” refers to and how it is applicable to the website’s frontend? Could someone provide examples of heartbeat in the frontend scenario?
