What file are my ad’s in?

  • Hi Everyone.

    Awhile ago, I added small google adsense ad’s to my wordpress. I google’d a way to add them, and they are now located right below my banner at the top of my page.

    The problem is, now that I want to change them, I cant find the website.. and can’t remember what file I edited to put them under the banner.

    Any thoughts? Please state if the file is through FTP, or you can do it through WordPress.

  • Giving you any advice on this is completely guess work as we don’t know what theme you’re using or even know your site’s URL.

    If you are using the default theme then I would venture it’s safe to say that your code is in the header.php file from your description.

    You may be able to access it via WP’s admin, but again, it depends on whether or not your files are set to be editable through the admin on your server, so you might just want to go the FTP route to make it easier on yourself.
