• Hey all,

I can’t access my website or my dashboard. It comes up with a blank page and this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/sou48932/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-fb-share-like-button/wp_fb_share-like_widget.php on line 180

What does this mean? It might be a problem with the Facebook widget but I can’t even fix it by going to the dashboard. Any help is appreciated

If this helps, this error occurred when I updated all the widgets.

If you cannot access your dashboard, you can deactivate your plugins via FTP. FTP is just a name of the thing that lets you manage the files and folders of your website. This is not the WordPress dashboard, this is something that your hosting providers give you. It can just be a simple file manager that lets you edit files, upload new ones and rename folders.

To deactivate your ‘wp-fb-share-like-button’ plugin via FTP, you just need to rename that folder (in ‘wp-content/plugins/wp-fb-share-like-button). Then WordPress will automatically deactivate it. You can rename the folder name straight back afterwards.

Thanks so much for your help, it works Andrew!!!
Shall I delete that renamed folder “wp-fbg-share-like-buttonDeactive” and download a new wp-fb-share-like-button plugin again? Or just leave the error folder there?
