What happened to WPAA?

I was just looking for answers on this myself. Makes me a bit nervous to continue to use it with all those security issues around.

It’s an excellent plugin functionality wise so I’m lothed to swap, let me know if you find a suitable replacement.

Ah ha, a bit of sleuthing. On the bottom of Matt’s site is an address, googling that comes up with a second site. Googling both names comes up with the following:

I’m speculating here but I suspect Matt’s busy with a new baby and does not have time for coding website stuff.

Is there anyone who could help me out? I’ve e-mailed the author with no response. I currently have over 400+ posts broken on my site because I’ve had to de-activate this plug-in because it’s now causing the Visual Editor to disappear. And yes I’ve tried the whole “deactivate plug-ins, switch themes, upload fresh copy of wordpress” stuff. It’s still not working.

Yes unfortunately there were quite a few things that occurred last year and I had to stop supporting the WPAA plugin. However I have finally gotten my balance and am actively working on getting the plugin back up and running although it will be under a slightly different name “WordPress Advertising Associate” due to changes in the Amazon Operating Agreement.

I’ll be putting new updates on my site mdbitz.com as I get closer to a release.

Great News. The plugin is now re-hosted on WordPress. You can access it directly at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpaa/ or by searching for wpaa from Plugins > Add New section of WordPress Dashboard.

I’m still in process of reviewing and changing but first order of business will be to cleanup some resource links as well as adding support for the India locale.

The link doesn’t work–has it been taken down?
