What happens after payment?

  • I’m testing out Stripe Payment in addition to Simple Membership plugin and bbpress. My questions are about what happens after the payment? Once the payment goes through I understand that the buyer gets an email thanking them and a redirect to a thank you page.

    But, when successful are they logged in and will my SM plugin recognize them as a member? Will bbpress recognize them as a member? Will wordpress recognize them as a registered user?

    Simple membership plugin works with WP Users. Each time a new member is added to your site they will also have a corresponding WP User account created. Which means that when they log into your sites members area, they will also get logged in as a WP user automatically.
