What happens if I delete or deactivate the plugin?

Hi there,
I’ve tried to search but didn’t come across any answers.
What happens to order numbering if I decide to delete or deactivate the plugin? I do understand that new orders will not be processed by the plugin but what happens with the old orders that were processed? Will they revert back to core WC/WP numbering?
And then, if I decide to activate or install the plugin again – what happens? The old orders will show a processed numbering or a core WC/WP numbering?
