Just for my understanding of the plugin. When a user submits the correct SMS-OTP code, what happens then?

I just want to give my users an option to verify themselves with a real phone number. They should not be forced to enter an OTP everytime they log in.

    Can this plugin do this?

Where is the verification-state saved then?

    (I am using Ultimate Member)

  • Hello @michaelpersch,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The OTP verification plugin restricts the user from submitting the form unless the OTP is verified. Once OTP is verified the OTP plugin releases the flow back to the form submission.

You can enable phone number verification on the Ultimate Member Registration form. This way, users will be verified only one time.

You can follow our setup guides to enable OTP verification on your forms.

Also, you can continue the default login flow of the Ultimate Member.

Let me know if you have any questions.
