    Will they still get the first workflow email? Or will they be removed from the workflow before receiving the email?

    Just want to confirm that my customers won’t be getting emails about cart abandonment after they have already purchased.

    => No, When the user completes the order user gets removed from the emailing queue and he won’t receive further emails.

    will they be removed from the workflow before receiving the email?
    => Yes, User will get removed from the workflow.

    Hi,

    For us this doesn’t work. I think this has to do with the fact that orders need to be marked as completed before the plugin marks it as recovered. It should markt the order as recovered when the payment is done, so with the status processing right?

    Is it true that customers are only marked as “recovered” once their order status is changed to “completed”?

    Yes, When customers complete their purchase and order status is completed, it will move to recovered.

    @cartflows – Okay, that seems like not an ideal configuration for most shops as the order status does not change to “completed” until the order is fulfilled. Order fulfillment takes 24 hours for many shops and during that time the customer would continue to get cart abandoned emails.

    Do I have the above correct, or am I misunderstanding?

    Hello @davedg629,

    When an order is in processing state then also our plugin will not send the future emails to that customer.

    For order status on hold we are updating our plugin.

    Can you please open a support ticket here so our developer will provide an updated zip.

    Ok, that is the clarification I needed. As long as the “processing” state will prevent emails from being sent to the customer, I’m good. Thank you!
