What I see is NOT what I get
-
Sorry if there is some frustration in my post, but the reason I opt’d to use WordPress was because I “thought” it was a great way to quickly get my website up and running.
So far, that has NOT been the case. It’s been a worky and time consuming business that has required much research and me visiting website just like this to figure out what is going on and why?
I’m using GoDaddy to host my website with WordPress v5.8. I’m using the Store Commerce Pro theme. Per my link in the page I need help with, you can see that my bullet list doesn’t work. It works when I’m editing the page in WordPress, but NOT when I publish or preview it.
I had similar problem with basic a Table … the cell spacing/padding was 0 so everything was squashed together when I publish, but when working in the WP editor all look fine.
So I tried inserting my own HTML in WP Editor that I Know is valid HTML and I got Block error invalid HTML … huh?
So far, my experience with WordPress has been a nightmare … it would have been faster for me to hand code all the HTML via Notepad and just upload the file to my site. I was under the impression WordPress was supposed to make web page development faster and easier?
