what I see on admin is not on website

what exactly do you mean by the “admin side”? The adminstrative dashboard (aka ‘back-end’) is where all of your settings are, including posts and pages as well as comments – but it is NOT where you view your site – that is the ‘front-end’.

SO when you are logged into the Dashboard (you should be an Admin-level user), then you’ll see a menu link on the left for “Posts” and if you click on that you’ll see your post titled “Hello World” – this is the post that WP comes with to get you started – you either delete it or change it.

Under the left-hand menu item you’ll see “Comments” – this is where you’ll find the comment on that “Hello World” post – again, WP starts you off with one comment, which you can delete.

If you are seeing something different in your dashboard you’ll need to post a screenshot of it somewhere so we can see what you are seeing.

The person who assisted me in setting this up is currently in the hospital and I am completely lost.

I cant seem to get a screen shot of the view from the admin side. I did a snipping tool shot and a print screen, but no go. Any other suggestions?
