What I would like

Hi there, what I have been looking for and cannot find, is a site gallery for my buddypress site, in order words a page where all my members can go to share images and comment, ideally with a widget where the latest uploads could be viewed.

I’ve looked high and low for this but to no avail, all of the plugins I’ve seen have meant that users get individual galleries or group galleries, not a sitewide gallery for all to participate in building as a major feature of the buddypress site.
