    Dear Sirs,

I just installed the 2FA for my website but I see that there is no alternative way to access your account in case 2FA fails?

In the worst case scenario, if the company disappeared by any reason, could I still log in to my account with my 2FA set up with Authy?

    Thanks for your help.

    Cmw.

2FAS Light is independent of our API. All data necessary in login process is in WordPress database. You can log in until you have your secret key in your mobile application and complete data in WordPress database.

There are no alternative login methods in the plugin. You can log in only by TOTP. If you need other methods like SMS/VMS or paper backup codes you can try 2FAS which is our primary plugin for 2FA but it communicates with our API.

Just in case of emergency is it possible to disable 2FAS Light to login without 2FA, maybe changing some configuration file or database record using server console?

Yes, it is possible. To do it just find twofas_light_totp_status meta key related to specific user in usermeta table and change its value to totp_disabled.

    Thanks ??
