• Ok, so it has been (to) long since I’ve up-dated my blog and now that I am semi retired and hitting the road, I’d love to use it more, but my admin page is all screwed up? I can’t find a link to create new pages, or pick a new theme or anything?

I don’t see how to attach an image showing what my admin page looks like?Should I be posting somewhere else for help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If I could up-date word press, likely to solve these issues? I don’t seem to be able to up-date? When I click on that link, I get the same 404 error message?

Something is also wrong in your frontend. No images are displayed.

You have obviously entered 2 different URLs in the settings for your website. You need to adjust them. Since you can’t really work in the backend, you would have to do this via phpmyadmin in your hosting. The procedure is described here: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/advanced-administration/upgrade/migrating/#changing-the-site-url (from “Changing the URL directly in the database”). The siteurl and home should have the identical URL.

Even if this probably won’t solve the problem, you can of course also try updating WordPress. Since you cannot click in the backend, you would have to do this manually as described here: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/updating-wordpress/#manual-update

If you need help with any of the steps, it’s best to contact your host’s support team. They should be able to provide you with both phpmyadmin and FTP access.

And remember: also create a backup before you do anything. The hoster may also be able to help with this.

Thank you. After speaking with my hosting site, they said they would check into fixing the link to download the newest up-date to WP. I’ll see if they do this, and if so, when I up-date it, does it fix the problem
