What is a failed ticket?

There’s a bunch of tickets in my attendees list that say “failed.” But in our PayPal account we have received payment for each of these tickets, so the payment obviously went through. We just received payment for a ticket to one of our events, and a few hours later it switched to “failed” even though the payment went through.
So actually 5 tables have been sold. But it is showing 6 because it thinks there is a failed ticket.
What does this failed thing even mean? And how do I correct my attendee list to show the number of tickets available?
