Home page as article?

    I have my site with the home page based on a page. I assume that because of this, the home page gets flagged as an “Article” in structured data. This to me does not make much sense and also results in an error as the page has no attached featured image to be included in the structured data.

    Is there some way to prevent the home page to be flagged as an Article?

  • I have this problem too. Our newsmagazine should not have the article structured data at our homepage.

    It would be nice to have a structered data selection per page, post and other content types.
