What Is Jetpack

It’s a plugin, sort of a suite of different features: WP Stats, Gravatar Hovercards, Twitter Widget, WP.me shortlinks, LaTeX, Sharedaddy, Shortcode Embeds, and After the Deadline.

You shouldn’t have to pay $119.

I am stuck with this error:
Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. There are no HTTP transports available which can complete the requested request.
Any answers please.

Maybe your host is blocking some types of outbound traffic. I would ask them they may fix 4 you.
