• I have installed wp-postratings and i have seen that the javascript code for running the hacks is inserted in this function…for some reason i must show the javascript code in the index.php template.

Can i move <?php wp_head(); ?> in index.php or not ? I have seen there is only the javascript code in this function, not other things

  • I think it adds a hook for plugins to insert stuff into the header. I can’t image adding it to the index.php file would do any harm unless you have other plugins that are using the hook that are supposed to put code in the header but that would then put it in the index file…

    anyone wiser than I know?

yes, i think you have sure, <?php wp_head(); ?> should be for plugins…

…postrating works good but i can’t see the useronline after i have moved <?php wp_head(); ?> in the index.php template

I beleve it’s for the header and header stuff. Including Post ratings.
