What is meant by 'transients'?

    Also, in doing the settings, if the checkbox for ‘Delete all spanned items’ is checked, does that mean all the posts or pages that have been spammed are deleted, or does it mean only the spam comment is deleted???

    Hey Monk,

    Transients are like options that are saved to the WordPress options table and they can have an expiration time.
    So, it’s a way of (temporarily) caching variables.

    About the spammed items:
    How can a page or post be marked as spam?
    So, it only deletes comments marked as spam (by the admin or by anti-spam plugins like Aksimet)
