Hello, i’ve installed the chat, free version, but first thing i’ve notice was the delay. My message appears after 3-4 seconds, sometimes 10? I’m using good host. I don’t have this problem with IFly chat plugin. I’m searching chat that allows more than 12 people online, so i’m trying wise chat. And i’ve notice that, if i enable sound, i don’t see the button to stop them?
I’m witch old version of wordpress if that matters. 4.25, and i can use it only on Default. Light or Ultra light versions doesn’t work.

    Hello,

The delay is probably caused by the Default engine which is generally slow. Please switch to Light engine and enable debug mode. Then please check what errors show and paste them here. I will try to investigate what is wrong with your setup.

    Best regards

When swtiching to lightweight ajax, comments doesn’t post anymore. You need to refresh the page to see them. I’ve enable debug, but the windows is blank. Check picture:

I think that the chat is taking alot of server processor and ram, that’s why there is the delay after while.

When you have a lot plugins installed in WordPress all of them can add their delay to the whole processing. Wise Chat shares the same communication channel (AJAX) with other plugins, so other plugins may influence the chat’s performance.
