What is the best Plugin to email users and need cache plugin

    first, i would like to email my users from time to time and need a plugin that works with version 2.5.1. Any recommendations?

    Also, someone told my site loads slow and I should get a cache plugin of some sort. Any recommendations? Are there cons to adding this plugin?

    Lastly, can you please take a look at my blog and tell me if you think I am missing something or what I need to fine tune?
