What is the best step to install WP Kohana on GAE

Currently I am running my website application on Google App Engine (GAE) using Kohana Framework 3 as the frontend.

I am looking now to run my site using WordPress. I know that WordPress can be installed on GAE and optimized using a Plugin as described in this topic:

I want to remain using the exiting Kohana in GAE but which one is better between remain using Kohana as frontend to call WordPress or set WordePress as frontend and run Kohana inside WordPress?
