What is the better solution?

I have my main portal page of my website here:

My current wordpress page is located here:

Im wondering what i the best way to get my wordpress blog to show up in my main page? Note that the menu in the main portal is an SSI element.
What is the better solution–to move my wordpress page within my site’s directories so that tis the portal page or to find a way to get the rss feed in the left most column? Some other solution????
