What is the fastest way to recover login credentials

I recently acquired the role of web designer for a small company. The current website’s previous webmaster did not leave the login credentials for the website, and uses x10 premium hosting. IS the only way to get in using phpMyAdmin? I know x10 comes with a cPanel but noone here has the login credentials for that either, which leads me to believe I am going to have to give them the billing information for a password reset before I can even dream of accessing cPanel. The Domain is through godaddy, however the content of the website itself is expendable as I won’t be using any to implement the new website.
