What is the ‘Logged In Account Menu’ and where do I find it?

    Hello,

    I’m using the free version of Astra and Under Appearance > Menus > Menu Settings there is an option to display a menu as a “Logged In Account Menu”. I selected this option for one of my menus but after saving my settings and visiting the front end of the website I can’t see the menu anywhere. Where exactly is it supposed to show up?

    You were right. The Logged In Account Menu on Appearance > Menus doesn’t do anything on the Astra theme. I will take this forward to our team to check further. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    However, this works well when you have the Astra Pro plugin installed on your site.

    Hi there,
    I don’t know who marked this as resolved but I just spent the last three days poring through the Astra theme files trying to locate this same Logged In Account Menu.
    Of course I did not find it.
    Please mark this resolved only after the Astra team have either removed the bug or they have given it a function.

    Hi @daydah I think it was I who marked the issue as resolved but that’s because I contacted Astra’s technical support and they replied to me via email explaining where and how to find the Account menu (you can add it as a widget by going to Customizer > Header Builder and click on the plus sign (‘+’) in the ‘Above Header’, ‘Primary Header’ or ‘Below Header’ field). I reposted their full explanation here but I see now that my post has been removed for some reason. Hope this helps. ??

    Thanks for the reply. I understand much better now. It definitely helped. I have seen the Account menu and I see that I shouldn’t assign another menu to the location.
