In the pro version, it says
Add rewrite rules for custom post types.

    What exactly does this mean?

I thought it would change the archive links so the the custom post type is indicated in the url, not the post_type paremeter, but my archive links are still using the post_type parameter.
    For example:
    /2016/05/?post_type=my-post-type

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/anual-archive/

are you using the pro version or the free version? for pro support, please contat us direct at the support channel listed in the purchase receipt.

In the pro versoin, if you turn on the add rewrite rules in the plugin settings (and you resave your permalink settings to flush the permalinks) instead of displaying:

    /2016/05/?post_type=my-post-type

    it would display:

    /my-post-type/2016/05/
