What is this?

I have been noticing in my stats that almost every ling to my site has looks like this https://media317.net/&type=wordpress2.8.3&wp=2.8.3/ I don’t know or understand what the “&type=wordpress2.8.3&wp=2.8.3/” is all about. How did it get there and why? How do I resolve this? I’m very perplexed.
