What is this – and how did it get on my site?

I’ve the same behaviour on multiple sites and also wonder where this comes from.

That is interesting. I do not have that plugin installed – and never heard of it.

I have not seen this ad since the first time. But it still troubles me as to where it came from ??

Maybe it is in all of the authors plugins: https://profiles.www.ads-software.com/noahkagan/#content-plugins

You may also just download your whole WordPress installation and search in every file for “SumoMe”.

I can confirm that we’re seeing this in a multisite deployment where one of the plugins listed at https://profiles.www.ads-software.com/noahkagan/#content-plugins is active on one of our sites.

The ad appears in the plugin list for every site within the multisite deployment.

Very poor form indeed.
