What is this plugin?

    I don’t understand this plugin. Is it an addon to Paypal Digital Downloads plugin? Or is it a totally different plugin? But in this case, I don’t see any settings for Paypal besides of choosing the PayPal, any way to create products or fill the shop, etc.
    Pages it created are just blank pages…

    Please advise.

    Hi @egoruk,

    This is a standalone plugin. It does not connect to Paypal Digital Downloads plugin or others.

    It comes with PayPal Standard built in. I will work on the documentation for this plugin in the coming weeks.

    Well, is this case I’m even more confused because you’re right there is a no documentation on this plugin.

    So, what does this plugin do? I don’t see any settings there besides Yes and No options, e.g. Tax – Yes/No

    What does it do? Does it build the online store? Product pages? Where are the Buy buttons? Etc. What do I do with this plugin? What do I use it for? Have no idea so far…

    Jan, you deleted the thread where the developer actually was doing some useful support!.. Why? Didn’t you see it there?

    Scott, since the other thread was deleted I need the ask this again here: what is the difference between the Easy Digital Downloads plugin and the Paypal Digital Downloads plugin? Thank you!

    This plugin is still in development. It is a work in progress.

    To answer your question, which is not related to this plugin, Easy Digital Downloads is a full featured eCommerce solution for selling digital product. My other plugin PayPal Digital Downloads is for selling one download at a time, it is currently not supported for new PayPal account.

    I would recommend using: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/ at this point in time.
