what is wp folder and file permisson?

  • My site was working fine before but I yestrday I was getting some fatal error from site as permission denied,
    I checked from cpanel and noticed that all folder and file has changed to 400 permisson,
    why this has happened and what permission should I the folder and files?
    is ther any spicific folder that I should be aware of?
