  • Hi,
I have the same question. I’m using w3 total cache at the moment and results have been a little unpredictable . I’m currently only using the notdevice and phone shortcodes.

    Cheers

Same question here, just started testing this plugin.
    also using w3 total cache.
Would like to know what experience you’ve had on this.

Mobiledetect will only work properly if whatever cache plugin you are using does not cache the mobile version of the site.

But page load speed is far more critical in mobile view.

You want to cache the site so that the site loads faster. You also want to use mobile detect to speed up the site by not loading resources that will slow down mobile view.

So this has been pretty frustrating experience for me but it seems that there isn’t any workable solution at the moment.

    Hi,

    any news about this?

I am also running W3 Total Cache, but a plugin like WP mobile detect could be very handy for me…

    thanks.

I have the same problem with WP Super Cache. When it is turn on, there is no mobile detect…

There are several workarounds, but this is not that simple. If interested you can add me as admin to your wordpress and I’ll try several things to solve this (not an easy solution though)
