What kind of traffic should you expect to need for adsense?

  • How much traffic would you *typically* need for each of these scenarios:

    1. Just to get accepted by AdSense
    2. Generate $10.00 a month.
    3. Generate $100.00 a month.
    4. Generate $1,000.00 a month.

    I’m just curious what the ballpark range is, since I do not know much about the industry and I don’t personally know anyone else who does websites (i’m old.)

    and yes, I know the number varies, depending on different variables.. Just looking for a ballpark range of unique visitors a day, or visits a month, hits a month, or whatever metric you like to use.

    2 3 and 4 – Can’t answer.

    it’s not as much a case of how much traffic as how many people visit AND click on ads. I have one site that gets maybe 300 visitors a month, but generates $5/month in revenue because they’re good about click on ads. Another site has thousands a day and only maybes like $.10 a day. I’ve never managed to sort it out.
