What PHP version is now required and why?

  • There is a new version of DH – Anti AdBlocker available, but it does not work with your version of PHP

    This plugin which is the only one that’s actually required can no longer be updated because it requires a PHP version newer than 7.1.x.

    As a PHP developer I can guarantee that whatever PHP function that’s causing this incompatibility can surely be replaced by PHP 7 functions with a few lines of code. I ask the developer to kindly explain which newer PHP function is causing this backwards incompatibility and to include the actual code so we can work this out and make this plugin compatible again.
