What $query_context is?

    I saw the following variables in some themes:

    global $wp_query, $query_context;
    and
    $query_context->context

    I know what is the $wp_query but what is $query_context? I searched everywhere but couldn’t find any information about this variable.

    I will greatly appreciate if someone explain it to me.

  • I cannot find that variable/object in WordPress 3.5.1 core. Perhaps it’s a theme specific object?

    Oh, you are right. I noticed just now that it’s a variable for a custom object in a specific theme.
