    I have recently installed Cybersyn on a couple different website of mine each on a different host. The first site worked perfect this plugin never had a hiccup. The second site however will not accept almost any rss feed it always gives the error belwo

    No feed found at https://xxxxxxxxx
    XML parse error: (No error)

    Why is it doing this? Are there certain settings on my hosting that could be preventing this plugin from accepting rss feeds on cybersyn ? Because litterally everything is the same on the two different websites just the hosting is different.

    If you are getting a “No feed found at / XML parse error: (No error)” message for a normal RSS feed (the one which can be validated here: https://validator.w3.org/feed/) and you definitely have one of the following server-related problems:

    1) Your server config does not meet the system requirements. For example, the libxml, simplexml, xml or curl PHP extension is not installed or configured improperly.

    2) Your server is unable to conned the RSS feed host. Many problems could cause this issue, so you need to contact your host admin and ask him to check your cURL functionality.

    Another detail I forgot to add that might help you figure out exactly what the problem is. I noticed that on this second host I could still add rss feeds like this one below

    https://news.google.com/rss/search?q={query}

    but these feeds don’t include any pictures or anything I noticed and were always short little excerpts of the full article.

    But a feed like this one below would not be allowed to add, but on my first site on the other host it would allow. What’s up with that ?

    I’ve added this feed to my test site w/o any problems: https://b.radikal.ru/b12/1903/03/7b69b2d0efe2.jpg

    Seems something is wrong with your server config, as I told you in my previous post.

    yeah I’ll have to contact them about this, but mean while is there any setting on my side I have the capabilities to change on my hosting to fix this ?

    I can’t say which ones. Just make sure your host is able to connect the feed and download it via cURL.
