what rights for WordPress firewall files

    I want to activate the firewall but I don’t have the right permissions for the folder.

    Can you help me adjust the correct rights to the folders please ?

    Hi @miaolee, thanks for your question.

    I’m certainly happy to help there. Recommendations I’ve seen in the past from the community suggest 755 permissions on your WordPress folder with a process owner of www-data should be suitable.

    If there are persistent problems with permissions reported on your Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page, it could be worth checking in with your host (or server admin) just to ensure you’re allowed to have those permissions.
