    Hi,
The WhatRuns reads the site HTML source code and try to identify any known fingerprints related to specific plugins and themes. If your site doesn’t use well-known plugins like WooCommerce, Elementor, Divi which are easy to track, you should still be covered and the extension should not see anything, since there are no specific WordPress and plugins URLs.
If using complex plugins ( WooCommerce, Elementor, JS Composer, Divi etc ) you can still hide through the PRO and a specialised functionality called Replacements, though this you can change virtually anything. For a demonstration, check with WhatRuns on our website https://www.wp-hide.com/

    Thanks

    Hi,
The advanced feature does not break the site.

Probably is a cache issue, check your site while not being logged in, to see exactly how the WP Detectors see the outputted HTML, if the default URLs are not changed there is a conflict somewhere.

So you updated the settings and works fine now? What cache plugin you run? Also, do you use a cache layer on your host / CDN ?

    Thanks

I am using Autoptimize, Basic cloudflare cache.

    Which default URLs?

    Hi,
The default URLs (e.g. /wp-content/ /wp-includes/ ) are changed, so the cache must be cleared atm. Can you also try to change individual plugin names through the WP-Hide > Rewrites > Plugins

    Thanks

hi, I tried it. So now, problem is, sometimes it detects wordpress and plugins and sometimes not.

    Hi,
I believe there’s a cache on their system and nothing wrong on your site. Through my browser it reports nothing:

    Thanks
