Right, looking for clues here, trying to get to grips with this plugin and have successfully hacked a few things about, via a theme copy of the files, and surgically removed the Previous/Next malarkey from the list page by chopping code out of nav.php.

    Happy with that!

However, I can’t fathom how to cut it out of the actual, ‘day’ page that the list view entries link to.

    Grumpy with that!

Not good with the correct terms, I fear so, specifically, if you select an item from the supplied url, which template are you ending up on?? The one that just shows the one event?

Sorry if it’s a naive muppet question. I’m kinda a naive muppet!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

Nice job with the customization for list view! When you say the “day” page, I assume you’re referring to the single event page? If so, you can make this customization in the same way that you did for the list view template (by following the instructions in our themer’s guide), but the template you’ll want to copy/edit can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php.

I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to by “selecting an item from the supplied URL”…I am assuming that you are again referring to clicking on a single event, in which case the template is the single-event.php template that I mentioned above. You can find templates for all of the different views in the “views” folder found in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/.

    I hope that helps!

    Oh, it does (help)! Ta.

I’d given up on getting a response but after more flailing around in me folders came back, just in case. Note to self: must check junk mail.

Yes, the ‘supplied url’ bit was supposed to be about the single event page.

Thanks awfully for the steer. I’ll have another play soon and see what I can break next. ;o)

Awesome! Glad you got it figured out.

I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread — don’t hesitate to create a new one any time you need help!

    Take care,
    Ed ??
