What template should I use?

Hi there,
I am new to WordPress and I am planning on migrating my current site to WordPress (as CMS). I’ve read about all of the cool plug ins and am looking forward to doing this.
Can someone please tell me if the standard Kubrik template would be suitable to use for using WordPress as CMS. I am not entirely sure how the whole thing works, so before I start on design, I thought I had better make sure I have the right basis.
Any help would be gratly appreciated.
