My site isn't coming up in search

  • I created a web site at Hostgator. The other site I’m dealing with is Namecheap.com. Both of their support depts. assure me the problem is with WordPress so.

    I created a web site at Namecheap and Hostgator called makemoney00.com. When I did a search online for my site it came up www.makemoney00.wordpress.com. Where did the .wordpress come from?

  • You haven’t created a site at makemoney00.com.

    It’s very likely that you signed up and created a site at WordPress.com, rather than installing www.ads-software.com on Hostgator/Namecheap.

    Your next steps should involve obtaining a hosting plan with your hosting provider, and to install WordPress on whichever plan you decide to purchase.

    You can either use their one-click installer your hosting provider may or may not provide to install the latest version of WordPress. If not, you can always download the latest package from www.ads-software.com, and FTP it into your server yourself.
