Thanks for leaving a review because all reviews no matter what content, help make the product better. Let me assure you that nobody working on Gutenberg wants to break the web, we all care deeply about progressing WordPress and the web.

There will for those that do not want to use Gutenberg be a way to revert to the Classic Editor. Right now there is even a plugin to do that: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-editor/. That said, the more constructive critique we get, the less people will need to use or want to use the classic editor.

@bkjproductions, there is no need to develop an editor for a theme. Your themes will work just like they always did.

Do you know what is ACF? We use it on big production sites, probably billions of sites have it underhood. And you want to remove “meta-boxes”. Wtf? Do you know that WordPress is a CMS in 2017 and not only a Blog platform? I read that something is changing about that, fortunately. I hope it will happen, otherwise that will be the end of WP in 3, 2, 1. And tomorrow we will see a new WP scratched from 4.9. Good luck, i hope you’ll do the interest of mankind and not yours only.

@gleenk I do, it’s Advance Custom Fields and the plugin that many who are working on Gutenberg are using to test the work being done on metaboxes. It’s worth noting metaboxes have not been removed in Gutenberg, a solution is being worked on.
