What Themes – Plug ins do you recommend for Mentoring Website

  • Hi All,
    Just about to start a new project and thinking I will probably use wordpress.
    I have some experience with WordPress but mainly for simple brochure websites.
    This one is a bit more complex and I was just wondering where would be a good starting place to find the best themes and plugins to achieve it.
    Any advice welcome.

    Essentially the website is a mentoring website for the eco and new age community. That means people may be giving mentoring or teaching advice on permaculture or reiki and other things.

    Client area with calendar of bookings, costs, profile details
    Mentor Area with calendar of bookings, costs, profile details and editing abilities
    Web Designer – Owner area with more power to adjust other areas of the site including removing profiles

    Mail System
    · Automated Mail Outs for periods of inactivity
    · Allows for promotions
    · Email lost passwords etc

    YouTube
    Interview Mentors for YouTube videos, links to and from the relevant pages on the website
    Testimonials from past students and clients
    Possibly a free introduction lesson or overview of their field of expertise
